Some Wedding Day Emergency Supplies

Overlooked Items

You never know what will happen before the wedding. Some items on a checklist is overlooked, or something gets spilled or is damaged. This checklist is some items that may come in handy to handle such problems.

Ace Bandage with clips
Band-Aids or other adhesive bandage strips
Calamine lotion
First Aid Kit
Kleenex or other facial tissue
Lint brush, the sticky roll is best (someone said it even takes makeup off of tuxes!)
aftershave (sample sizes)
antacid/ Pepto-Bismol or other antacid/upset stomach aid
antihistamine, cold remedy
aspirin, or Naproxen or ibuprofen or Tylenol
baby powder (also works great for spills on a white dress--just dab with water and then baby powder)
bathroom tissue (yes, it has come in handy)
bobby pins
breath mints/mouth wash
brush and comb (sterile of course)
bug spray
chocolate bar (for diabetics or for DJs if they don't feed you and you didn't have time to grab a burger on the way to the wedding)
cleansing cream
clear nail polish (great for runs in hose also!)
clear tape (in 1 inch and 3 inch sizes)
corsage pins (these often get lost!)
cotton balls &/or swabs
cough drops
dental floss
disposable camera (great for getting shots after the photographer has left or in the case of equipment damage)
dryer Sheets (anti static problems)
duct tape (for everything including hems)
dusting powder for before pictures are taken (especially helpful on those hot summer events)
emergency phone numbers: 1) local taxi services 2) caterers 3) cake bakers
eyedrops/artificial tears
flash light
floral tape ( both green and white, can be used to put together a quick generic garter (for groom to toss)
hair dryer (not just for hair, also is good for drying fabric from stain removal
hair spray
hand lotion
hand towel (put them around the neck when doing makeup to avoid stains)
hard candy (better than medicinal scent of cough-drops)
knife and server for cake cutting and serving
lip balm such as Chap Stick or Carmex
makeup & lipstick (get a bunch of samples)
makeup remover for face and for clothes
matches or lighter
mirror (a small hand mirror)
moisturizer (samples, samples, samples)
nail clippers, file, emery board
paper cups
paper towels
pencils and pens
perfume (again, samples are great!)
poncho or rain hat (made of thin plastic and disposable)
rubbing alcohol
safety pins
self-stick Velcro pads
sewing kit & small scissors
shoe laces (black for men, white for ladies)
shoe polish
shopping bag
small pad of paper (Letter Head)
smelling salts
stain remover
staple gun
sun screen
tool assortment
toothpaste and an extra toothbrush (brand new of course)

Buy a Rubbermaid type container to put these items in.
