Doors open at 10:00 A.M. for socializing. (1 and 1/4 hours before start of general meeting.)
Meeting starts at 11:15 A.M. and ends at 2 PM. Lunch is served around Noon.

The building is near the middle of 106th Avenue. Turn onto 106th drive down about 1/3 of a mile then right into the Elks Lodge parking lot.
We have to have 5 to 7 WW II veterans on the panel.
If you ever wondered about some aspect of WW II aviation then you can send your question in advance to email@example.com and we will assemble the questions received to ask the panel. You can also ask questions during the meeting. Tom Davis will be the emcee of this meeting.
A Hot meal lunch is available for purchase at the meeting for $18.00 which includes gratuity.
If anything, all in attendance will have a piece of cake. Maire Antoinette would be proud.

Meetings are open to everyone. You do NOT have to be a member to attend meetings.
Past meetings are transcribed and posted on the 8thafhsoregon.com web site. Most meetings are also taped and are available on DVD.
This non-profit organization is for anyone who has an interest in the 8th Air Force in its roll in defeating Germany during World War II. The meeting is valuable to anyone interested in the history of WWII European Air Combat.
There are currently 80 members who flew combat in the 8th AF (and another 20 who flew in other theatres and / or wars.)
To join the Oregon Chapter fill out the form at the meeting and present it to the treasurer. The annual dues is $10. In addition, you can join the national organization whose dues are $25 a year. The national chapter puts out a quarterly magazine while the Oregon chapter puts out a quarterly newsletter plus a monthly chapter news update.
